Docker`s Fish & Chips in Peterborough

Hit or miss, sometimes it's delicious and perfect, sometimes the fish tastes really old.

Great prices, good fish. Would have preferred a thinner batter, but the dinner was a good value.

You won't be disappointed with their haddock, as it is delicious!The price here is slightly above what I was expecting, but it's not a deal breaker by any means.I also found the amount of chips I got on my plate to be a little less than I would have expected, but once again, these things can be overlooked after you've polished off a plate of their delicious fish and chips.Highly recommend this place and will be back again some day. 🙂

We were visiting from Kitchener, staying at Emily Provincial Park. Stopped in town to swim and have lunch. Ordered the haddock and fries, we all loved the food. Fresh and hot, made to order. Even my skeptical 10 year old loved it. Will definitely stop in again next time we're in town.

Wings are really good, perfect amount of sauce and really crispy and juicy.

This serves a great home cooked breakfast at very reasonable prices.

We originally wanted to have takeout but changed our mind. And we were a pretty big party, with a toddler and wheelchair bound individual. The owner was very accommodating and courteous. She made sure we could all sit together and pushed some tables together for us. The food was pretty good.

I love the breakfast. My favourite in Peterborough. I don't really like fish but theirs has a light batter that is good.

Great food, can't go wrong getting flavorful food. Definitely was worth the money. I can say the only takeout I have been too in the past month where I would most definitely be back. Enjoy!

Sorry, we didn't stop in at Docker's we were on our way by. Headed to Lock 19 to catch some fresh fish. I'll put my beer battered walleye up against the best fish anywhere in Peterborough. LOL.

Food was excellent. Also the portions were generous. Good news: having examined the fish there is no sign they could take over our planet Aquaman or no.

Great spot right off of landsdowne. Had the fish and chips special with gravy and everything was excellent including the friendly atmosphere and of course the staff which greeted us as we came in the door. Would recommend this to anyone looking for good food and friendly service!

A-maz-ing!!! One of the best places in town to enjoy a full plate of fish and chips and you could even still enjoy dessert, if you have room, for a reasonable price. They close at 7 pm and even though we cut it close to closing time, they still gave us phenomenal service. It's a homey atmosphere. 5 🌟's + an extra 5 for great food and fast service.Update - Sunday, March 3, 2019 ... Breakfast ...yummmm ... Served until 2 pm (closing time on Sunday). Quite busy about 10 am but worth the wait. Still 5 🌟's!!!

Best breakfast in town! And their hashbrowns are the best I've ever eaten, so flavourful, and I'm not a potatoe guy!!

One of my favourite places. Delicious food, generous portions and absolutely amazing staff. The ladies who serve Saturday mornings are just about the friendliest, happiest and most efficient people you'll meet.

A great place to grab an authentic and home cooked meal. The fish and chips are great, but don't miss the other awesome menu items available too. The burgers are homemade and delicious and all of their fries are hand cut and fresh.

Stopped here will in town to use the beach while camping in the area. Fish was good enough to convert 1 of my 2 small kids and my wife. That's a 5 star accomplishment. Staff is super friendly and service was quick. Place is clean and looking forward to eating in the resturant 8n the future.

Finally stopped to get fish & chips here and boy we regret not stopping sooner. Excellent light batter, lovely flaky halibut cooked to perfection. Chips were delicious too. Coleslaw nice and crisp with great flavour. Great service, friendly staff. All in all a 5* fish & chips meal.

Great spot, typical fish and chip place. Nothing special of corse but the batter is good and the fries and mice and thick. I've had take out and dine in and both times were great. They also have online ordering now! Check this place out. It's been around for years!

Food is always great at Docker's. We also experienced excellent service too. I haven't been adventurous in my choices so it's always been fish and chips.. But what else would you go for?

1st visit today for lunch. Great haddock. The clam cowder was a 10. Homemade onion rings were a bonus treat. Definitely returning next time in the city
